Người dùng Apple đã có thể cập nhật thiết bị của mình lên iOS 6.0 bản GM (Gold Master). Đây là bản được phát hành cuối cùng dành cho các lập trình viên, đồng thời có thể coi đây là bản Apple sẽ phát hành chính thức trong vài ngày tới. Phiên bản iOS 6.0 GM hỗ trợ các dòng sau:

• iPhone 3Gs, iPhone 4, iPhone 4s
• iPod Touch 4
• iPad 2, The New iPad

Nếu không muốn chờ đợi lâu, các bạn có thể tải về và thực hiện việc nâng cấp (Restore) qua iTunes. Đây là cách áp dụng chung cho các máy Quốc tế. Ngoài ra, các máy Lock muốn sử dụng cần phải đảm bảo đã unlock bằng SAM, thực hiện sao lưu Lockdown trước đây. Ngoài ra khi lên IOS 6, máy Lock buộc phải Jailbreak bằng Redsn0w để thực hiện hackactive máy vào bên trong.
